Female Motorist Hurt after Crashing Car on Interstate 5 in Sunny Valley Area
A motorist was injured when she crashed her vehicle on Interstate 5 in the Sunny Valley area on Christmas Eve Day.
The Oregon State Police reports troopers and emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle rollover wreck in the southbound lanes of I-5 near milepost 73 on Tuesday at 12:12 p.m..
Troopers said an investigation indicated a 21-year-old woman was driving a red Toyota Corolla too fast for the wet freeway and lost control on a right-hand curve. The car impacted the right shoulder and rolled.
According to OSP, the driver was transported by ambulance to Three Rivers Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Her cat was transported by troopers to her family in Grants Pass. Her wrecked car was towed by Caveman.
Following the investigation, the driver was warned for Violating the Basic Rule.
