IVFD Announces Four Graduates of 2025 RITA Volunteer Firefighter Academy
The Illinois Valley Fire District is pleased to announce the graduates of the 2025 RITA Volunteer Firefighter 1 Academy who successfully completed their training last Saturday.
Graduates include Volunteer Firefighters Levi Schellenberg, Olivia Tuuri, William Harrison and Josiah Gavlik.
IVFD Chief John Holmes said their dedication and countless hours of volunteer service exemplify the commitment it takes to serve their community. He said volunteer firefighters are a vital part of the Illinois Valley and they deeply appreciate their hard work and perseverance.
Chief Holmes congratulated all the graduates, adding that their service and dedication do not go unnoticed.
