Jackson County Offers Sheriff’s Informational Class
The Jackson County Sheriff’s office is offering a new informational series for the public one night a month, dealing with law enforcement issues surrounding our region.
The first class is Tuesday, January 21st, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Smullen Center in Medford.
The free class will discuss the increasing presence of gangs in the area, and look at how crime, drugs, and murders are often tied to gang activity.
It should be noted that due to the topic, real pictures and videos will be used. Attendees should be aware of the use of explicit language and images.
Future classes will include a look at the medical examiner’s program, internet crimes, mental health issues inside the jail, protecting yourself and your business
