Prospect Faces Double Edged Sword Over Graduation
Prospect Charter School faces trouble on the other side of a victory.
The school’s baseball team, comprised of players from Prospect and Butte Falls High school, won the opening round playoff game Wednesday and advanced to the state quarterfinals.
This caused a scheduling conflict making it impossible for the five seniors on the team to attend the graduation ceremony, originally planned for 7 pm tonight, changed to 7 pm Saturday.
This late minuet change has upset some parents and at least one student who now refuses to walk, one perturbed aunt stated that the switch was putting athletics above education.
