Bank robbery causes two-car-rear-end collision
The bank robbery Thursday at the Grants Pass Fred Meyer caused a two-car-rear-end collision as police officers hurried to the crime in progress.
A pickup stopped at the intersection of the Grants Pass Parkway and Parkdale Avenue just before noon as a Public Safety patrol car was traveling code to the bank robbery in progress. When the pickup stopped it was rear-ended by a semi truck driven by Darrell Scott.
No injuries were reported from the incident and Scott was cited for following too closely.
