Meth Bag Seized on Bus Traveling Through Phoenix
Wednesday the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement team, acting on a tip, seized about two pounds of methamphetamine from luggage discovered on a bus traveling through Phoenix from southern California.


The bag was seized after an alert by a drug detection K-9 and secured while the investigators obtained a search warrant. Investigators are working on identifying and apprehending the individual responsible for the bag.

The I-5 corridor is frequently used by drug traffickers as a route from California to the Northwest utilizing all modes of travel including buses.
