I grew up in Eugene, where I developed a real passion for music and radio at a very young age. By the time I was 10, I knew about nearly every station in Oregon. I learned everything I could about the business, knowing this was the career for me.
In high school, I started out as a student announcer at KRVM. I received my first paycheck from KDUK at age 17. I then spent 14 years working for KKNU, KMGE, and later, KEUG. As a side project, I enjoyed programming the high school radio station in Oakridge from 1999 to 2010.
Over the years, I had an interest in KLDR, as I would always listen while traveling through Southern Oregon. I made the move to Grants Pass in September 2011, to join the KLDR team. It was the best move I could have made!
