I was born in birthing room #1 at Josephine Memorial Hospital right here in Grants Pass. My family stayed in the area so I was raised here and even graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1995. In 1996 I joined my 2nd family here at Grants Pass Broadcasting.
I stayed here for several years, but eventually I was married and moved away. I spent the next decade living in Seattle and Denver before returning to Grants Pass to resume my career with the wonderful people at KAJO/KLDR.
Through my life I've worked in a variety of fields ranging from computer programming and web design to cardiac technician and pre-school teacher. Believe it or not, my first ever job is the one I've stuck with... Disc Jockey. My love of music and passion for being around wonderful people has kept me happily in place for several years and I expect to be here for several more.
When I'm not on the clock I spend much of my time working with Josephine County Search & Rescue. I am a member of the Rope Rescue Team and I am an up and coming tracker. I also enjoy dance (all types), Geocaching, gold panning, mountain climbing, riding motorcycles, singing, and performing in local theatrical productions. I am also a board member for One Eleven Threatre Company.
My life is blessed with the love of great friends and an amazing daughter who lives in Minnesota, but spends her summers here in Grants Pass. We love to go on adventures and enjoy all the wonders Southern Oregon has to offer.
Please be sure to send me a friend request on Facebook and listen for me on KLDR.
